Michael Dayan, Ph.D.
Research & Communications, Vancouver, BC
Michael is inspired by redemptive stories about the human capacity to overcome adversity. When not directing our research and communications department Michael directs feature-length documentary films on this subject matter. In his role at Green Collar Association, Michael seeks to uncover ways that human effort can effectively address, and ultimately overcome, the problem of climate change. Michael has instructed seven courses in mass and interpersonal communications; consulted on brand strategy for a wide range of companies; and participated in developing four Internet communities. Michael is the recipient of both scholarly and directorial awards and his academic background includes degrees from Columbia University, University of Toronto, and McGill University.
Gus Klemos
Membership Services, Toronto, ON
Gus leads the membership services team for Green Collar Association. The goal of his department is to develop relationships and provide feedback service to prospective and existing members. His past experience includes business relationships with major academic institutions such as Ohio University, University of Central Florida, NYU as well as companies like Berkshire Hathaway, ESPN and more. Most recently working with SkilledWorkers.com (2006 to early 2009) gives him great insight into the job market for the construction, energy and infrastructure industries as they transition to a green economy. Gus studied computer science and applied math at the University of Western and his technical background comes in handy for helping structure Green Collar Association’s online services offerings.
